Absolutely disgraceful it took 3 weeks to have our references organised and confirmed that we had been accepted for the flat. Every time myself or my partner ring we are greeted by abrupt and rude staff. I have mentioned the thermostat and have been told to contact the manufacturers ourselves. Now the French doors are not weather tight and was sent a condescending text message about us not doing things correctly in the flat. Cannot wait to move out. Thankfully our landlord is wonderful shame that cannot be said for the estate agents.
I recently rented from them for 4.5 years, so positive things first: they didn't put the rent up in all that time, which is good, and most people I had contact with through them were decent enough, but unfortunately most of the time I ended up dealing with Kate, which soured my experience with the company. Everybody else there was fine but she stood out as being abrupt and unpleasant to deal with right from the start, speaks down to you as if you were a 3-year-old, insisted the damp problem in my flat was caused by my own living conditions based on nothing and claimed I'd never mentioned the problem before when I absolutely did.Even if you've been renting with them for years, they still expect everything to look completely brand new when you give the place back and will use any excuse to try and charge WAY over the odds for any cleaning/repairs at the end, so take lots of photos and dispute everything.The number of poor ratings and complaints about rude staff are there for a reason, be warned.
Viewed an appartment and decided to agree and proceed with application the next day. I enquired about replacing dirty carpets with a contribution towards costs the sales advisor said its negotiable no issue We will look at it. I drove from leeds to barnoldswick with all paperwork id plus monies only to hear the criterian is very strict which they gave they decided i didnt meet it even before the application.!ive never experienced such negativity untill pad2let reminded me of the very stringent criterian Even before they knew my credentialsI guess my tan was obvious But id be foolish to suggest it wss racism
Don't be put off by the 1 star reviews on here!I've personally rented with Pad2Let for around 9 years now and cannot fault their service! The Ladies are all down to earth and friendly.When things need fixing they will always arrange for someone to come round quickly.If I was renting my own place out I would use Pad2Let!Thanks for the great work that you continue to do!
